Holiday time is here and what better way to celebrate by taking individualfamily Christmas photos. Feel free to wear a Santa hat, dress up in green and red, or be creative with your own ideas. There are many benches at the venue which allow a perfect setting for getting great shots. We will meet at the Educational Center. Parking is free. All skill levels are welcome. Note Smartphones are allowed for those who don't have a camera. In addition, the booking policy does state a photographer under the age of 18 may also attend a meetupclass when accompanied by an adult photographer. A booking spot must be purchased for both individuals.

Are you ready to get out of "auto" mode on your camera? Did you recently obtain a new camera ? Would you like to go right into Manual Mode with a RAW setting for taking pictures? Let me show you how this is done so you can improve the composition of your photos. The theme is Beginners Photography Class. A Beginners Photography Challenge will be presented. The Photography Triangle (Shutter Speed, ISO, and Aperture) will also be discussed. Discussion and questions are welcome. Parking is free in the parking lot. Cardinal Valley has an asphalt walking path, a long stream of water, a genuine stone wall, a log cabin, and lots of lansdcape and wildlife.

Come along to our meetups to improve your art in a relaxed and social atmosphere, and under the guidance of a professional instructor. Complete beginners to experienced artists all welcome.

Our 2 hour meetups are held in a different location each time, usually outdoors.

Bring your own materials which can be anything from pencils or pastels, to watercolour or oils.

If you are a complete beginner all you need to start are a couple of good drawing pencils, a rubber, and a drawing pad.

Who can attend? Open to all skill levels, from beginners to experienced artists. The instructor is there to help everyone.

The meeting point and full details for the day are sent in the booking confirmation email to the email address you provide at time of booking.

Title or Location: Wooden Wave
This piece is acrylic on wood. I used some scrap pieces I had cut from the end of a wooden board I was using. The actual wave and cliff are from where the knot in the board had separated. As soon as I saw it I knew what I was going to do with it. This is two pieces of wood, individually painted and then screwed together. I love upcycling these scraps.
